Father Michael Miller
Vicar
Before being ordained Father Michael was a Bank Manager and worked for the Halifax. Originally from the North Eastern city of Durham he lived in West London for about 20 years before going to Ripon College Cuddesdon to train for the priesthood. He served his curacy in St Albans Diocese at All Saint’s Hockerill (2005 -2008). He then served as Priest in Charge at St Thomas Kensal Town in North Kensington from 2008 and was made Vicar there in January 2012.

Father Michael became the Vicar of St Edmund’s on 28th September 2016.

Among Father Michael’s interests are cooking, skiing, hill walking, travel and languages. He has studied French and Japanese and is currently learning Italian, although he admits to not being very good at any of them! Father Michael has always been a keen member of the Scout Association and is currently Chaplain to the Hayes and Harlington District Scouts.

Mark Hammond
Organist and Choir Director
Mark Hammond has been organist at St Edmund's since September 2000. He was born in Bournemouth and began to learn the organ at the age of thirteen with the late Geoffrey Tristram at Christchurch Priory. He continued his organ studies with John Belcher, Martin Neary and David Sanger. He was organ scholar at Peterhouse, Cambridge University, where he read music.
After graduating, Mark went to Durham University where he studied for a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. He is currently Assistant Director of Music at St Margaret's School, Bushey.
As well as giving solo recitals, Mark has formed a Trumpet and Organ duo with his brother. Together they have performed at such venues as Wesminster Abbey, Southwark Cathedral and the Houses of Parliament.
