CHRISTMAS SERVICES
at St Edmund
's

Carol Service (Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols)

6.30pm Sunday 17th December

The traditional re-telling of the Christmas story in readings, seasonal music from the choir and popular carols for the congregation.

The Blessing of the Crib

4pm Christmas Eve - Sunday 24th December

A joyful and lively celebration for all the family, with the nativity story retold and carols for the congregation and some dressing up!  During the service we will be accepting small toys as gifts for Home-Start Hillingdon families - there will also be a collection to support this charity. If you would like to donate online you can do so here.

Midnight Mass

11pm Christmas Eve - Sunday 24th December

The poignant and dramatic principle Christmas service; as well-loved carols and seasonal music contribute to a joyful Eucharist to mark the birth of Christ.

Eucharist with Carols

10am Christmas Day - Monday 25 December

A more informal celebration of the Eucharist; with families in mind the service lasted about 50 minutes and includes carols and prayers at the Crib.

Devotion for New Year's Eve

5.30pm Sunday 31st December

A short meditative service which includes Benediction before the Blessed Sacrament.  This is a good opportunity to give thanks for all the good things we experienced in 2023 and a chance to pray with hope for 2024.
