FIRST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH

11.15AM IN THE HALL

(OCTOBER 6th AT  12.15pm)

God of light and salvation, our refuge and our strength,
We pray for the people of Israel and Palestine amid the continuing violence.
We pray for those killed and injured by rockets from Gaza in southern Israel. May your rod and staff comfort them.
We pray for those who are grieving. May they know your ever-present help.
We pray for the protection of those who have been taken hostage by Hamas. As they walk through this dark valley, may they fear no evil.
We pray for the civilians of Gaza. May they know that their help comes from the Maker of heaven and earth.
And we pray for those in leadership in Gaza and Israel. May you guide them along the right paths. We ask all this in union with Christ and trusting in the power of your Holy Spirit. Amen

Parish Church of
St Edmund the King, Northwood Hills

Church of England | Diocese of London

A warm welcome to St Edmund's.  We are an Anglican Parish Church, serving our community in North West London.  A lively and diverse group of people gather here to worship, both in church and online.  Our Anglo-Catholic tradition draws in folk from beyond our parish boundaries, as we worship together, grow in faith, and share in fellowship and service.

We invite you to join us in Church and come and grow with us to share in the rich and joyful fellowship you'll find here.  You can also watch our services on YouTube and  subscribe to our Channel.

We have a free weekly newsletter which is available using the "Current Issue" link above, or you can subscribe to receive it by e-mail each week.

We hope to see you soon.
